Shed or no shed?

Where to build

I heard different opinions. One of the advantages of building from steel is that in theory it can be done without a shed. You must have a shed, if you build from aluminum, wood or fiberglass.

I have enough space on my acreage to build a shed for 40-foot sailboat but partially because I got tired of building a house and partially because I didn't want to spend extra money on shed's building material, I decided to go with no shed. It would have been nice to have one even in Alberta with its many sunny days but again life is short: first things first!
